 Guidelines for Businesses

Crit exists to assist you in impressing, improving, and innovating. We accomplish this by providing you with a robust review platform based on transparency and collaboration, which allows you to communicate with and collect feedback from consumers. Crit is available for free.

You can  also subscribe to our premium services for a token.

Restrictions

Anyone with a conflict of interest, including you, your workers, and close family members, is not permitted to write a review of your company. This implies you and your workers cannot do a competition review. This is done to protect the reliability of reviews. People who have had a recent and real encounter with your company can post a review about it.

We will not remove a review simply because you believe it is unjust or you disagree with its content, or you believe the reviewer should have given you more stars.

Request for Review

You can request reviews, but your invitation procedure and phrasing should be fair, objective, and unbiased. It is feasible to request a contact number from reviewers when they leave a review in order to better identify an experience.

Don't write or solicit others to write your reviews. Fake reviews are not tolerated and will be removed.

User Account

Because we allow reviewers to choose their own username, you may not always recognise their name as a previous client of yours. However, this does not rule out the possibility of them having had a true, recent experience with your organization

Be User Friendly

We expect you to be a polite contributor to our site. This means that you shouldn’t be nasty. Don't publish anything harmful, hateful, discriminatory, or defamatory. You should not lie, bully, blackmail, threaten, or do anything illegal to other people.

Here are “tips” for writing a great review.

Be Private

Your feedback is available to the public. That is why it is never an intelligent choice to disclose important or private data about yourself, and it is never a good idea to provide anyone else's, that is: names, phone numbers, addresses, email addresses or anything at all. We want your privacy  and others' privacy and safety to be respected and protected.

If your employees use their own name in reply to reviews, they've made that information public, and you shouldn't mark additional reviews for using the same identity.

What shouldn’t be posted

It is difficult to explain what should or shouldn’t be posted. It is important to know that as a platform that connects customers and businesses, we have different responsibilities. We want to let everyone express their experiences: good or bad. Nonetheless, we must also discard words or remarks that cause severe harm to the individual reputations or cause serious losses to businesses.

Because we are a platform that connects consumers and businesses, we must balance competing duties.

Business Account

Your business profile page's information must be accurate and not deceptive.

The Review is for your Consumers

The author of a review owns it. They can update or delete their reviews at any moment, and they can post multiple reviews if they have had multiple interactions with your company. Pressuring or offering an incentive to a reviewer to edit or delete their review is not acceptable.

Marking Reviews

We do not moderate reviews, but anybody can mark those that violate our criteria. You can flag reviews for a variety of reasons using your business account, and we will only evaluate a review for the reason you specify.

If someone marks your review for violating our policies, we may temporarily hide it and alert you that you need to make adjustments. We'll provide you the ability to keep honest reviews on Crit but they must align with  our standards. We will delete your user account, your reviews will be removed alongside it.

This is for transparency.

What you should not do

We promote free expression, but some stuff is never acceptable. A company response that violates these criteria may be deleted. Furthermore, if you misuse our platform, we may restrict or limit the use of services in your business account, issue a user alert on your profile, and even revoke any contracts that you have with us.

Conclusion

It is very important to know that we have the last say on how these rules are interpreted. We also determine how they are applied, and we can change them at any time.
